Nobel Prize Winning Scientist Was From Ishpeming

Glenn T. Seaborg was born in Ishpeming in 1912. His mother and father spoke only Swedish in the home. He moved to California for his scientific education and became a world famous scientist. He won the Nobel Prize for Chemistry in 1951.
