Pins Galore

Big Bay north of Marquette was home to a sawmill industry and produced 90% of the bowling pins in America for a company called Balke, Collendar, and Brunswick. Scrap from the bowling pins was used to make clothes pins. Later Henry Ford bought the mill and made parts for early model Fords.
